Its no doubt that these Nollywood celebrities are iconic and at one time in their lives had pursued a degree in an institution.
Some of them had a course that are rather not relating to their acting career while the others had degrees that we can find in their characters.
Nevertheless, this collection will be a mentoring piece for undergraduates who’s got one of them as their role model. Here are some of Nollywood celebrities and what they studied in school. Most of them seem to have studied in the University of Lagos.
Veteran Nollywood actress Funke Akindele studied mass communication at Moshood Abiola polytechnic in Ogun state, however it was a diploma course after which she went for law in the University of Lagos. She graduated from law but was unable to go to to law school because he had gone into acting and she had always wanted to be an actress.

2. Joke Silver
The well known and respected actress, Joke Silva studied English course at the University of Lagos. Joke silva is the wife of veteran actor Olu Jacobs.
3. Kanayo O. Kanayo
Veteran actor Modestus Onyekwere popularly known as Kanayo o Kanayo also graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in Philosophy. He made his first appearance in “Living in bondage”
4. Mercy Aigbe
The beautiful actress Mercy Aigbe studied theatre arts at the University of Lagos in 2001 and has starred in over 100 movies.
5. Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD)
Veteran Nollywood actor popularly referred to as RMD studied Theatre arts at the University of Benin. He started his acting career and starred in several movies after which he went back to study law in the University of Lagos in 1997. His mother’s wish had always been for him to become a lawyer.
