Ifedayo Olarinde has taken a swipe at the Black Panther movie which is trending all over the world with the producers raking in cash.
Daddy Freeze has criticised the popularity of high grossing movie, Black Panther despite all the positive reviews.
Freeze on his Instagram page described the movie as being overhyped and as a money making venture on Blacks, especially Nigerians, by the Americans.
According to him, contrary to opinions, the movie is not promoting black culture or has any significant value. He wrote “The overhyped movie is neither promoting black culture nor adding any significant value to us
“They are using our sentiments to cash in, while the real money makers are the producers, the marketers and the financier….. and they ain’t us! ”
Disney-Marvel’s Black Panther movie is heading for a super-heroic $218 million debut over the four-day President’s Day weekend at 4,020 North American locations, estimates showed Sunday.
