CAC Slashes Cost of Business Registration

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has declared the extension of the 50 PERCENT cut in the registration fee for Business Names for 3 more days with effect from 13th August, 2019. The new date will now end on Friday, 16th August, 2019.

The decision to extend the deadline is due to the Sallah public holidays. The 3 days extension is to permit Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that could not register their business because of the Sallah holidays to so register.

The advantages of having your business name registered with the CAC cannot be overemphasized. With a registered business name, you can own corporate accounts with Banks, gain access to loans, grants and other government intervention programmes for SMEs.

Members of the public are enjoined to take advantage of the 3-day extension to register their Business Names at the reduced cost of N5,000.
