Mark Zuckerberg has a a lot of Facebook friends, 95 million and counting, but for people who want to unfriend the tech billionaire, it can be a somewhat more difficult than becoming his friend.
It turns out that blocking the Facebook founder on the social media he developed is in fact impossible, you can not do it.
Facebook will allow you to block folks who are annoying or threatening.
Even so, it’s turned up that Zuck’s very own page cannot be blocked – because so many people have attempted to silence him already.
The social media spoke out after being asked if it was because of a bug.
“This error isn’t specific to any one account,” a Facebook representative told The Guardian.
“It’s generated when a person has been blocked a certain large number of times. In very rare instances, a viral campaign will develop instructing lots of people to all wrongly block the same person.
“The purpose of this system is to protect the experience for people targeted by these campaigns. We’re constantly working to improve our systems and are taking a closer look at this one.”
Many people have attempted to block Zuck and were met with the words: “This profile can’t be blocked for now.”
