A Chelsea fan has lost his life in a shocking manner after he was stabbed with a knife in Ghana during an argument.
Deco was stabbed to death during a fight
A Chelsea fan by name Deco was stabbed and killed by three men during Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid in Akweteman Zongo – a suburb of Accra in Ghana.
An eyewitness at the scene who spoke to Accra-based Asempa FM narrated an argument ensued over the performance of Chelsea defender David Luiz which led to a fight. It had been in the process that Deco was stabbed to death with a knife.
Police in Tesano are on the hunt of the three fans who’ve been on the run since committing the crime on Wednesday night.
The trio were angered by comments passed the deceased in response with their comments about the performance of the Brazilian defender who endured an underwhelming night in the Spanish capital.
They went home and came back with a jack-knife and clubs that they used to attack and kill Deco. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Korle Bu.
Police have launched a search for the trio.
