PDP chieftain Chris Ubah has given the former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi one week to apologize to the party or get exposed.
While speaking in an exclusive interview with African Independent Television (AIT) over the disappointing outcome of the Anambra election, Chief Chris Ubah a.k.a Eselu, threatened the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, warning him to apologize in 5 daily newspapers or get exposed by him.
Ubah who is a board of trustees member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gave Peter Obi, one week to apologise for PDP’s loss in the recently concluded Anambra gubernatorial election
He claimed that Peter Obi is the only reason why the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came third in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Anambra state. Ubah blames Obi for the impunity witnessed in the party during the emergence of Oseloka Obaze as a gubernatorial candidate in the party’s primaries.
Ubah said: “Obi himself is not a politician. He can not win election on his own. He has no capacity to win any election on his own. For Jonathan to look at Peter Obi and appoint him to be the coordinator, that is the first accident the PDP got.
“I had already done one interview before you people came in, and I am saying he must apologise to PDP. Why I am saying this is (that) I’m a BoT member of this party. And I’m sendi ng warning because of the convention on the 9th of December. If we do not get it right, the party will be finished.
“Immediately Peter Obi came in, he went and brought all those old commissioners who are angry with Willie (Obiano). Even in their town, nobody knows them.
“Politics is by people inviting you, not by making noise. And Peter Obi can not be boasting, testing power, which he can not be governor without people like us.
“What is the magic? Peter Obi has no capacity. He never run any election before. I say it, he never ran any election before. And if he wants me to expose him more, I will expose him more if care is not taken.
“I want Peter Obi to apologise to PDP, members of PDP in Anambra, stakeholders, somebody like me who is a BoT, in five pages of newspaper. And I give him one week to do that, or else I know what to do.”
