It is no news that the entertainment industry in Nigeria is producing billionaires every year and that is why everyone wants to join the industry. The music sector is not left out as we see musicians flaunting their wealth on social media.

10. Phyno – Net worth N2. 5billion.

phyno   Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike popularly known as Phyno is the last on our Top Ten List with a net worth of $7 million. Originally a producer, Phyno switched to raps and is well-known for his raps in igbo language. He has endorsement deals with Airtel, Guinness Nigeria, Nairabet and others. 

9. Flavour – Net Worth : N3 Billion

Flavour Forbes 2017   Chinedu Okoli also known as Flavour N’abania made our list with a net worth of $8.5 million. He recently signed a young blind boy, Semah G, with whom he performed the song Most High which is the rave in the gospel category. He also has endorsement deals with Globacom, Bullet, Hero and others.

8. D’Banj – Net Worth : 3.6 billion

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known as D’banj or Koko Master is said to worth $10.5 million. The co-founder of the defunct Mo’ Hits Records is more in investment today than in music but is still a brand ambassador of various international and national companies.  

7. Timaya – Net Worth : 5.5 billion

Timaya Forbes 2017   Born as Enitimi Alfred Odom, Timaya is a superstar who is beats our Top Ten List with a net worth of $15.2 million. The Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa began his career in 2005 and has climbed the ladder slowly. Today, he owns his own record label, DM Record Label. He also has endorsement deals with Globacom and Hennessy.  

6. Olamide – Net Worth : 5.7 Billion

olamide   Olamide Adedeji also known as Badoo made the list with a net worth of $15.9 million. The artiste is famous for his record music and raps in Yoruba. He also has endorsement deals with brands such as Pepsi and is regarded as the richest rapper in Nigeria.   

5. 2Baba – Net Worth : 5.9 Billion

2face Idibia Forbes   Innocent Ujah Idibia popularly known as 2baba (or 2Face Idibia) is next on this list an estimated worth of $16.4 million. He is the CEO of his own record label, Hypertek Entertainment and has reportedly signed endorsement deals with Campari, Guinness Nigeria, Globacom and also one of the ambassadors of NAFDAC.

The duo of Peter and Paul Okoye popularly known as Mr. P and RudeBoy made our list as one of the richest musicians in Nigeria with a net worth of $18 million. Before their separation, the duo had endorsement deals with Globacom and recently, Mr. P signed an endorsement deal with Kia Motors. According to Forbes, P-Square is regarded as the richest twins in Africa.   

3. Don Jazzy Net Worth : 13 Billion

Don Jazzy ForbesMichael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Donny Jazzy or Don Baba J is next with a net worth of about $36 million. He was the co-founder of the defunct Mo’ Hits Records but presently, he is the CEO of Marvin Records. He is also regarded as richest record producer and has endorsement deals with Loya Milk and MTN Nigeria  

2. Wizkid Net Worth : 15.5 Billion

Wizkid   The second top richest musician in Nigeria is Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim, popularly known as Wizkid. He is believed to worth about $42.8 million. The artiste also has his own record label called Starboy Records and has performed with many superstars such as Beyonce and Drake. His collabo with Drake was the first song to record on million views on Youtube within 24 hours and he broke that same record last year with the song Fever. Wizkid also has endorsement deals with Globacom, Pepsi and Ciroc. He is Nigeria’s highest paid musician as at 2018 when he performed at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Royal Wedding where he received a whooping sum of $681,000 (an estimated N250 million).

David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido (A.K.A Omo Baba Olowo) is the richest musician in Nigeria with a net worth of about $45 million. The artiste has his own record label DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) which signed other artistes such as Mayorkun and Peruzzi. Davido has performed across the globe with top superstars and has endorsement deals with MTN Nigeria, Infinix, Pepsi and many others.
